Chris Woodward founded Weld Youth Rugby in 2013 in an effort to introduce the Northern Colorado community to the greatest sport in the world. The pathway to competence, confidence, camaraderie and courage was developed and proven methods of teaching the game evolved into what are now best practices. Chris is a Level 200 Coach with USA Rugby, the former Regional Director of Youth Development for USA Rugby, former coach for University of Northern Colorado Mens Rugby, a former player and Coach for Sul Ross Rugby, and a former Legend's Roster scrumhalf and winger for the Austin Blacks.
He is also a devoted father and husband, and fan of the game of rugby - his family has patiently permitted his absence on Saturdays as well as participated as outstanding players on many of the teams he has coached. Image Courtesy of ACP Media. https://acpmedia.shootproof.com/gallery/17985712 |
